I can confirm not only the measurement inaccuracies described here from other reviewers.
After eleven months since purchase usage by only two to four (!) Weighing operations per week, the silvery veneer has also suddenly resolved on the right side and you could see how inappropriate (with a thin double-sided tape that is) this was mounted. After all, it was possible to fix by using a special glue the veneer again on the glass substrate.
However, the greatest nuisance provided the power consumption. Given by, as described above, only a few weighing operations per week, it is an outrage of the manufacturer, the customer to sell a product that always calls for two to two and a half months for new batteries. From the resultant environmental impact quite apart.
The product developers do not even seem to have thought so far, or the production was to not be able to provide the device with a properly functioning open circuit for the periods of non-use, so that the balance, even if the display is off, obviously permanently remains in standby mode. Otherwise I can these extreme power consumption at least not explain. And on the batteries, it may not be even, as we have to guard against this, the batteries from different manufacturers used.
Since the device is, however, advertised even on the packaging, exactly with this function ("Auto Off"), there are only two explanations: Either you have it installed or forgot it works at all.
Conclusion: The analog scale, fully functional for 15 years, has been given back to their rightful place. Better a visually not quite new device than one that looks good and modern, but provides only for trouble.
