I bought this unit because I have a problem that in our bathroom halogen lights are installed and of a transformer is defective. I do not know where they are installed under the wooden ceiling, an electrician advised me to look for with such a laser thermometer the point with the higher temperature. I have now measured with this unit and also found the place. The device is easy to use; the laser light can be switched on and off by pressing a button. One should just stick to the values settings that are specified for certain surfaces. The accuracy is good - it is also here on the distance to the object to be measured, how many degrees you have attributed muß.Auch this is printed on the device. Personally, I am very satisfied with this laser thermometer - for this price, it is recommended.
