My first album Goldman, a double vinyl. I was young at the time, not in a pocket, and I needed the "best bits" of the artist. What a happy surprise: in addition to all the cliches of the first period, I discovered the lesser known gems that accompany them on the albums. Registration completely outperforms often minimalist studio productions: we pass to the higher dimension and here the quality of the compositions take on their value. The musicians who accompanied the artist are pleased that tour. Showcases including the saxophone, too forgotten since my taste, but it also gives us the pure and hard rock guitar / drums the most beautiful effect ("without a word", "It is enough of a sign", ...) .
One regret: the registration matches multiple dates, and the choice was made not to deliver a seamless concert atmosphere but to respect each service, which gives a lot of molten which one would be passed.
The inescapable Goldman to own for those who want a good compilation, to accompany "Between light gray and dark gray" for the overview of the first period (solo).
