I have 925 appointed me to replace my Manfrotto which already got cracks in the tripod leg attachment of cast aluminum to 3 times use. The Manfrotto has a more expensive price list and is the size and weight very similar to Mantona 43001 Scout. The two tripods are therefore directly comparable, since they have both ball heads and the mounting plate from Mantona even identical to that of the Manfrotto is. If you look real quick you could keep the Mantona for an almost identical replica of the Manfrotto 925.
At the 2nd look, however, the surprise - the much cheaper Mantona acts stable and mature - the Manfrotto true may optically something prettier. But yes I buy a tripod for photo practice and not to watch it, especially since I'm actually quite disappointed with the Manfrotto by the rapid defect.
My Nikon D300s is for this cheap tripod no problem - whether with or without flash and with what objective - the Mantona is stable and reliable - and at this price - can not believe it myself hardly, have always believed that it a hundred Euro can give no useful tripod.
Conclusion: If you want a relatively lightweight, durable and highly effective stand with practical ball head gets here really the maximum for his money. Absolute buy recommendation!
