... It would have been better to have in addition a microphone and volume control. While both absent beings, we can only rabbatre the excellent noise reduction function. At work in open space when we want to focus hell does it work in the same transport (tested with my Sony 23 Compact on line 13 in Paris).
PS: Beware activated noise reduction uses a lot of energy ration.
