You play one of the knights of the round table. The purpose of this board game is to fight evil in all its forms: the dark knight, the dragon, the Picts, Saxons, and so on !!!
After the game ends when one side prevails over the other. I will not go into the details of victory or defeat conditions voluntarily or I'll put a slice of bread.
The game box is gorgeous: beautiful figurines (I hand painted when I had the game), trays of beautiful quality. In short, the good stuff even if 45 is not cheap! The quality is paid and it is not a board game, thus drawing less copies than Monopoly or Risk.
The rule book may intimidate beginners but the illustrations are clear, precise and everything is explained.
Most of this game is that it is entirely COOPERATIF, which is quite rare. But (because yes there is a but) one of the knights you believe your side can prove to be the enemy of every other and it can work with Evil secretly (or not play the big and rotten not very discreet but it's less fun).
For fans after the game's release, the magazine "From the game on a platter" had published a special edition with an additional character: Sir Bedivere "with the character card and figurine.
There is also an extension to this game: the company Merlin.
