I had the receipt printer Epson TM-T88III bought with serial port and USB adapter. However, he read absolutely not be connected to a laptop, until I finally got the idea that the supplied USB to serial adapter with Prolific chip is the problem. So ordered these FTDI adapter and it finally works immediately.
