Finally a NAS server of works

What I mean by "Finally a NAS what works?"
1. I have a Tascam Internet Radio. So far, I could not hear my MP3 collection about it because the radio is stuck for a song. Since the new NAS it works flawlessly.
2. I have my WD TV Live box connected via a 100Mbps cable to the NAS. As I look a DVD I can copy data from another computer on the NAS without causing film dropouts. Terrific.
3. Both Linux, and Windows, I can easily access the NAS.
4. The synchronization with the iTunes server is functioning properly.
5. The TV, the WD TV Live box, the PS3 found the NAS right away and I can access it easily.
6. The NAS is quiet. It is so quiet that it now can stand in the living room with me without it bothers me.
7. If the failure of a hard drive, you can repair the RAID by installing a new disk. I could try, because I knew from one of my disks that they are no longer functioning properly. And actually restore the raid worked flawlessly.
8. The Wake-on-LAN is working properly from my iPhone, as well as a PC. If I can I einklinke via VPN into my network also start from the Fritz box with the help of a Wake-On-Lan packet the NAS from anywhere.

Another note: There is far as I know mom. no Fritzbox with a 1Gbit HUB. This means that although my QNAP has two 1Gbit connections, but I can operate this only with each 100Mbit, because I do not have a Gigabit hub. Therefore, I could not check whether the Qnap enough CPU power has read the 1Gbit / to write.

The interface is easy to use and the additional features, such as SQL, web servers, etc. function properly.
