I wanted to read the book really only because it is supposed to be a classic, but I really enjoyed this book. Lee Harper takes us back to a time when people's lives were very different from today. She shows her readers a perspective on the race problem in the United States, which is the least known and is very sensitive at the same time bluntly. Just great. Her writing style in English is very good to understand, if you set some even have to read 2x to get behind their thoughts.
