Customer Review

I must admit that I Nightwish times, always have back Tarja desired - that that would never happen even though I was aware. While I particularly Imaginaerum but very much a whole still remained the connotation that Anette's voice, although very exceptionally and strak but for me never really fitted properly to Nightwish. No matter - now it should go to her first solo work and no longer has much to do with her musical career in the Finnish symphonic metal Institution. There are, however, no reason - the somewhat gloomy, melancholic pop rock to Shine the Swede is clearly better, from the start you get the feeling that she feels much more comfortable in this kind of music. Be it my favorite, the rockier "Shine", the opulent "Lies" or beautiful ballads like "One Million Faces" or "Watching Me From Afar". Anette shows in each title repeatedly facets of your voice.

Overall, I like to distribute all the songs good to very good, so I see no reason not here the highest score, since I am very pleasantly surprised by this album that I will certainly hear more often in the future. Whether Anette Solo also will lie down a career as Tarja is indeed questionable ... but at least they will see with this album many fans and that is to wish her well!
