This unit One hour loaded and was then ready for use. So half of my unshaven face dry for three days - the other half wet with shaving gel. The reviews of my predecessors are not exaggerated. In both cases, almost no difference to wet shaving. Due to some problem areas, especially at the neck - and very strong whiskers, I took always in addition to the old Braun electric, with whom I was never really happy - once a week, an expensive Gillette Fusion to help. Those days are probably gone for good.
The Philips RQ1250 with its nearly perfect shave. Lightning fast (5 minutes), already the first driving over them almost all caught (as I said after three days), skin irritation hardly occur, noise is more than pleasant, design and handling brilliant. The only slight weakness that is likely to be but due to the typical Philips Design, are just bodies under the nose and on the sideburns. But measured against the rest of the result that I would ever have expected no electric shaver these weaknesses are manageable. This shaver is worth every penny.
Today I am a happy buyer. My old Braun I packed away and am looking forward to the next morning with the new.
