Big Attack

"Do not wake me up / I can not relate to any other song today" - how true, the first single, "Hand In Hand" had a season ticket for the course of the summer and earwig is just a darn foxy punk rock song. And was able to make good hopes to the now fourth album of Beatsteaks Berlin. Hopes that have been met. "Smack Smash" has definitely some Pops, virtually no loss and a wonderfully rough production, which because, inter alia, that the album was recorded live.
To kick off the colorful 32 minutes is the opener "Big Attack" by blown and makes equally clear that the Beat cutlets remain faithful, but simply come along edgier than it was on the previous album "Living Targets". You just need a couple of runs to determine that almost anything could be released as a single again. Done this is also with "Idon'tcareaslongasyousing" (in the album tracklist yet in a word) in my opinion rather find a nice breather, the better tracks elsewhere.
For example, when vorraussichtlichen third single "Hello Joe", which is dedicated to the late Joe Strummer. The catchy "Is not complaining", the somewhat spacey "Atomic Love," the rabid "Monster" or the even more rabid tere "Loyal To None", teeters at all, sing and to rock, sooner or later. Anyone who wants to know whether internationally-compatible punk rock can also come from Germany: Here is the proof.
