I bought this stand just before I flew to New Zealand for two months. The decisive factor was the weight and compact dimensions, as I was by bike or hiking on the go and so little burden as possible wanted to carry around. It was very important to me from the small spirit level, which is mounted below the ball head. I needed it for panoramic shots. The stand works well, the ball head seems to be processed with value and with my camera (Canon 600D + Tamron 17-50 2.8 Di II) there were no problems with respect to slipping of the head. The foam padding is nice and holds good. The tripod is sufficiently stable overall, although there are of course much better choices for more money.
The following drawbacks I could find permanent service in two months:
- The biggest problem for me was the very low working height of max. 86 cm, the course of the low weight and the small pack size is owed - Individual legs have become loose over time, but could be with Allen again tighten them well - A leg has bent (as I can not say), the stand remains functional without problems
Overall, I am for the price but very satisfied and the tripod would buy immediately.
