This box is intended for beginners, takes players and game master by the hand and leads you into a successful role-playing and in this game system. The system is also really special here, just the cubes are interesting. Rather than simply roll only successes or failures, show a cube how successful or unsuccessful they were at a rehearsal and (and this is now eirklich new) whether there will be positive or negative side effects, irrespective (!) From the success or failure of the sample. Players and the GM must therefore interpret each litter, and so interesting situations come about. So, the blaster shot not hit the Stormtrooper, but skin the plaster from the ceiling and hindered their view of what causes the Stormtrooper obtain a disadvantage. The Schmugger lies the Imperial Officer Although successful in the face, yet he remains skeptical and arranges secretly to follow the characters. The pilot does not manage things around the hunter, roams the asteroid and gets into a tailspin. But has the whole a positive side effect, because the pursuing TIE fighters now have it a little harder to meet due to the coasting target. A computer expert hacked successfully into the system, but triggers a silent alarm. This cinematic situations are typical and happen all the time, virtually every union in this game. There are successes, failures and positive and negative side effects. The system is thus multi-dimensional. It may at first seem a bit complicated, because of all the different cubes and the strange symbols, but after one or two rounds of games you have internalized it. And if the players are skilled at interpreting the dice results (here helps the rulebook plenty) the system to its full potential narratives. No litter are the same, all the players are eagerly awaiting the dice result, progress is turning and exciting. This takes some practice, of course, but Star Wars on the edge of the Empire, it is definitely worth it. Whether it needs special dice? I'm not a game designer, but the dice system, as it is now, is this cube ahead with their colors and symbols. Without special dice, it would be a whole different ball game. In addition, I personally am looking forward to a change of role play everyday, especially when it is so well as here. A set of cubes contained in this box, it would be good if the players group still sometime (in the appearance of the basic rules) to bring a second or even third set. Incidentally, there are also a suitable app for iOS and Android for just under 4 euros. For this you get a lot of hours excellent RPG fun.
