Somehow I had it at that time foresaw when my review about Max Payne 2 for the PC: The developers plan to make the games more realistic. Prime example was the I have just mentioned Max Payne. At the time the game looked really scary and really the story could even beat a movie loosely. But now a few years later there is a new console called Xbox 360, heralding the second generation of games with Splinter Cell Double Agent. With today's technology, you can now develop games of the presentation as well as from the atmosphere as realistic act like a real movie! And in Splinter Cell Double Agent, there was really some impressive moments that my statement inferior impressive. Since you get really been afraid when you think about it, what blockbuster games yet to come.

With SC: DA is now the newest high-tech thriller (I forbid me here the expression game) arrived from the Tom Clancy universe. To be honest I was a bit skeptical because of the control because this was quite good as I've noticed with the predecessors on the PC. However, the atmo in the Splinter Cell series has always been unrivaled.

But in all this there is also criticism gush: The story, for example. Although the story is the most exciting so far in this franchise, so it lacks, however, a bit of narrative Draught: Since the death of Sam's daughter is mentioned only with one sentence. As I have expected a little more depth. If that's motivation only an alibi for Sam? Too bad also that the 24 like the story thrilling plot twists missing. Of course it is depressing to shoot a prisoner but there was not so much affected me. As you notice it's not just RPG wants to create the great characters. But I was nevertheless shocked when Sam had to shoot another known towards the end. That was very well presented! But the end was told too quickly. To do instead of four missions in JBA-quarters, one would prefer the story to gestallten some detail. It left open some questions. But there are the famous To be continued ...

So I am sorry there is not even in the graphics and the sound full marks: As the technical side strong Tearing (distorted image building), slight jerking and occasionally aufweißt to edge fibrillation, there is no award. When the voices sound in Dolby Digital mix are much too low, a setting for the sound, there are not. In full Soundgedröhne some voices are then difficult to understand. Again, no full marks. And this would have been really in it.

Conclusion: Sam Fisher's new adventure you can not produce more realistic. Here one has the feeling one experiences a real thriller at first hand! Who needs Sam in a movie?
