The digitally remastered CD version was first published in 2000 with a detailed 24-page booklet. Among the 7 original titles come plus 7 bonus tracks, so that the CD reaches a total running time of 72:31 minutes.
The CD starts with the same furious grandiose "Woman From Tokyo" followed by the melodic, catchy "Mary Long". Then with "Super Trouper" and "Smooth Dancer" are two typical classic rockers Deep Purple style. Absolutely cool sound! Also "Rat Bat Blue" convinces full of good riffs and incredible organ solo before then "Place In Line" is really nice bluesy for a change. After this breathtaking journey through the original part of the album with the ballad, melodic "Our Lady" is finished in style.
In the bonus tracks is the 99-remix, and an alternate version of "Woman From Tokyo", followed by "Painted Horse", an interesting studio out-take. Then again remixes of "Our Lady" and "Rat Bat Blue" before finally the CD version fades to the over 11-minute instrumental "First Day Jam".
