It features a blue surface to the design to spice up a little. Processing Technically it is nothing special. It is relatively thin plastic of yields slightly to pressure. To open one simply pushes the surface to the rear, then the lid folds down automatically and you can insert the hard drive. To prevent accidental opening, there is a rear safety switch.
Drivers do not need to be installed. In the test under Win 7 64bit, the drivers install automatically and you can start immediately. The HDD activity is indicated by a LED.
All in all, a simple and functional entry-level housing. Those looking for any particular demands on a very stable housing can strike. This one I would recommend for use at home more.
