Technical Background
Although the receiver showed a good signal strength (80-90%), but in the disturbed stations only a signal quality of about 40%. Attention: Receiver ads are always to be treated with some caution. When signal quality is poor, I would suspect a poorly aligned bowl normally. The cables from the dish to the receiver, although more than 40 meters also relatively long (also 5 adapters are plugged in between), but should lead primarily to a decrease in signal strength and not the signal quality.
Possible Causes
1. The satellite dish is not optimally adjusted and therefore the signal is not good enough. As a stand-alone reorganization at my bowl is difficult, one would at least at an expert costing. 40-60 count.
2. The LNB is slowly on his mind. But I could not detect any deterioration or continuous frequency shift. Cost of a cheap quad LNB would mind. 15th
3. The cable is too long and too often interrupted. To lay a new cable (50 m) without interruption would be with me a bit cumbersome. Cost: about 12
4. amplifier: Instead of a new cable simply attach an amplifier instead of the first adapter to the LNB. Cost: Currently 3.15 (see above)
The solution
Understandably, I first tried the last point and an expensive (probably about 20) satellite antenna amplifier borrowed, which also immediately eliminated all interference and signal quality has doubled to 80%. The thereupon ordered Wentronic SAT antenna booster for just under 1/7 of the price (see above) provided exactly the same improvement and looked almost identical.
Conclusion
If the cause (possibly conflict with any receiver ads) be too weak signal strength, so this signal amplifier is in correct connection solve the problem most likely, as well as (almost) any other satellite antenna signal amplifier, which then but partly more expensive are. In most cases, such disturbances are but rather due to too poor alignment of the bowl, so that in relation to many spurious signals are received and thus the signal quality (often displayed as SNR: Signal to Noise Ratio) is too weak. And then, of course, helps no signal amplifier simultaneously amplifies the noise so that in some cases, the picture is even worse ...
