But first a few words on the vinyl version of the album:
The build quality is really great and you get 2 LP's in good quality. To do this, of course, the nice big cover and a fun booklet and an MP3 download coupon for the entire album, class! Now to my review:
01 - Tetrahedron [- / 5]
(Actually belongs to 99 cans of beer and will go there with in the scoring, as an intro quite okay, but nothing special and also it sounds away after the intro to "Do you hear the signals")
02-99 beer cans [3/5]
(Slow, but relatively "hard" piece. Pretty good, but in the long run would have a bit annoying, as an opener expected a little more)
03 - command from the bottom [4/5]
(Like, draws and fun, especially the "Reef" of synths goes well in the ear)
04 - Leider Geil [5/5]
(First real highlight, unusual song, precisely because, unfortunately, cool!)
05 - The moon [4/5]
(A slightly nachdenklicheres piece that could be removed remember "air train". The Shuffle Beat fits and makes the heart beat in pieces that otherwise something works, "Lost in Space" which indeed fits. Varies from 3 to 4-star, but rather then 4 ..)
06 - Illegal fans [5/5]
(Class Song with giant earwig potential. Refreshing is reminiscent of Dupstep "Breakdown", lyrically and musically super)
07 - Partnerlook [3/5]
(The verses are funny, is quite good but not the highlight. From the sound It's a little more direction House)
08 - Buck yourself up [5/5]
(With Leider Geil together the strongest song on the album, totally coherent, powerful and very cool!)
09 - Egolution [2/5]
(A bit drab .. perhaps intentionally, makes the song compact, but I personally like it soo, so far the weakest song)
10 - horse from glass [3/5]
(I like it somehow, very chilled, the text is also quite funny and ironic, of course)
11 - The beam [4/5]
(Sounds to me somehow a bit like a mixture of "air train" and "Hovercraft" and somehow it works. Catchy, but that is sometimes okay, right? ;-))
12 - The Red Box [5/5]
(The track is totally surprising and is really funny, a great punk rock number, clearly too short)
13 - Roll the barrel clean [2/5]
(Total annoying chorus and otherwise not really get much for rum at the track, reminiscent of "Come on over")
14 - Heart Of Hack [3/5]
(Funnily text, quieter song, rounding off quite well)
Conclusion:
Approximately 3.7 stars on average get 4 stars in the overall rating! And I think that's appropriate. The 2 discs rotate here definitely take some time and I would recommend anyone Plattenfan the beautiful vinyl version of the album!
