After 5 hours of play: YES!
I have rarely played a so "cool" game. I am fully confident in all aspects:
- The graph is - for me - very good. I'm not a fanatic, in which everything must shine / light with a lot of dust and ultradeep particles. To me, the graphics should be set for the game, and this is an outstanding success. Very, very good lighting effects and light / shadow ... the good performance is most apparent in Spy vs. Mercs when the mercenaries with their lights to scan the area.
- Animations are very well done, liquid and the speaker (Sam Fisher: Eric Johnson / in German Martin Kessler (Nicolas Cage, Vin Diesel)) provide damn good job. The character models could be better, and Sam looks 50 like 30, but that does not bother me in the least.
- Gameplay is super, provided little acclimatization. Control is sometimes imprecise, but otherwise zufridenstellend.
- Many open way, many new gadgets. The Paladin as a command center like it very much and in general there are a lot of variety.
- Story acts ... believable. Of course it could have been more creative than only stops a terrorist group, but I think it's at least well implemented.
I started with the highest level of difficulty because I wanted pure stealth. I have so far received - After 2 shots Sam is dead Some passages I have really many attempts needed to get through unseen.. The AI makes a very good impression, guards are curious, talk to each other and pay close attention to their surroundings.
I do not know what to write - I'm just flashed from the game. Sam Fisher and his charismatic crew deliver from a damn good job, with the summer during rainy weather but will be even better. Strong buy recommendation !!!
