For device: The external values do not need to hide behind other smartphones. Both sides glazed and provided with a fingerprint resistant coating, it is difficult and well in the hand. Worth mentioning here is the rubber-like coating of the rim. The insertion of the Nano-SIM Card proved quite tricky - not for a Grobmotoriker like me, which the tiny repeatedly slipped from his fingers until the thing finally stuck there, where it belonged!

Do not worry, guys - I'm not from "where" paid! ;-) I'm really excited about this - how shall I call it - Ferrari among the smartphones! Of course you know as enlightened Germans that this device on Amazon - tailored customer. It will be rewarded by a magnificent performance in 3D style that inspires even the screen saver. The screen itself is responsive to your lightest touch, is easy to operate with one hand.
It initially dares hardly to move the device - if one turns it, turns, pivots, or shakes, always something happening. Images are enlarged, open menus, you can read eBooks without touching the screen - simply tilt only slightly, and the text scrolt from bottom to top! Something makes extremely addictive! You can call the thingy too, and the voice and reception quality is quite good (of course, is also network dependent).
The carousel function is to allow direct access to recently used functions. It is not necessarily my cup of tea, but you can also more clearly, by (not uninstall, but only away!) Some of the "Shortcuts" removed.
The camera, like most Digi-Cams daytime good pictures. Captured images using the fire phone the way you can save without limit and free in the Amazon Cloud, external content is currently only up to 5 GB.
I have always fought against me to switch off the phone keys, towards the smart phone with touch screen, but the part I put just out of hand, if I go to sleep. It is easy to understand structure, so I did not have to try the "Mayday" feature.
The absolute best feature is "Firefly". Turn on TV / Radio and watch a movie from which you want to know more or you would like to buy - on the side "Firefly" (camera -) - button not only identify and so the film / song, but it opens a website with links to IMDB (movie database) and Amazon offers (Stream or tender offers).
The identification of a book or sound / image carriers about the cover funzt poor, often only after three or four attempts, which could be due to "Firefly" on Amazon servers uses stored product images, and covers of books, CDs and videos can quite be different and thus overwhelm the app.
My conclusion: The 3D display with screensavers and various games is temporary at best interesting, but the device has something - at least for those of us who can come to terms with the fact that it is the device is tailored to Amazon customers Smartphone which, however, need not fear direct comparison with other vendors.
Now a small tip: Anyone who uses the machine for reading Kindle books and may waive the buying tips at the bottom, which can disable this also. How to do this, you will easily find out for yourself.
