The boy is good. Fresh, friendly, "easy druff". His comments and his appearance credibly that he just has a lot of fun to make music. "The background sing'ich but all myself," "Now I can from morning until evening to make music - and even like yet another - I want more." Keep it up.
The only thing I could criticize, if necessary, is the somewhat smooth ironed sound on the CD. Presumably, the professionals in the studio and sales ample help. And probably also think that music would be sold through the ironing better. I had the same impression, incidentally, even at Lenas album. Both Dursti and Lena bring the songs live better.
It would be great if you could convey this feeling even on a CD.
Live is Dursti just a tad better, rough, genuine and authentic.
I found him well already at USFO with Heavytones. In his live performances in Kassel he showed another of its many facets. No matter with whom he performs together, he is able to get across his music with steam and commitment. This works in solo, with mini tape or a rock group. He seems to be able to convey his enthusiasm for both his band members and the audience. And if occasionally slightly jolts - does not matter. Dursti is simply good and live as a complete package.
Just heard in HR3 that they imagine Dursti's "Let me sing" as album of the week. Congratulations!
