Long story short:
Acquired original BG-E9 with Super Snap (127, -, new !!!), surface is exactly equal to the camera, so now acts as right as a unit. Feel of the coating and the rubber coating is very good, drawers are considerably smoother than in the Meike replica, long-term test is to be seen (but when I look at my 60D, which I bought in released in 2010, it is expected that the BG the same wear is experienced and is minimal and remains even after a year still brushed and high quality).
The base plate is extremely strong, since the BG is internally reinforced with metal, so there are no bulges, when dealing somewhat more robust with the camera (yes, finally, a workhorse, even if for most "only" a 60D is). Is not unimportant for the DSLR filmmaker of you who can not use a flexible point in their set up.
Batteries (partly original, partly of white) are always easily recognized and displayed (was at replica-BG also not always the case).
Although the replicas look the same at first glance, they are already pure from the form is not. The Meike BG-was much too thick in portrait format. While the BG-E9 acts almost the same width, but it is significantly better in the hand.
It may be that other BG-E9 replicas are better than mine, but I maintain still that all roll off the assembly line in China and bought the same and labeled by different labels these things (Please clarify me on when I here am wrong. I would be really interested times).
A star draw for the cheeky MSRP of 200, - and in some cases fairly high street price of around 160, - to 170, - from (including shipping cost.). I have not paid, but that was a fluke. My painful ceiling for a BG is at 150, - actually more than achieved (one must not forget that there also still expensive batteries purely want). In the 7D and the 5DMKII is more milked (RRP 260, - and 380, - WTF?!?). But who buys expensive cameras have more money for equipment, is clear ...
CONCLUSION:
Who has the money, buys definitely the original. It is worth it.
Who has not the money should be longer take pictures without BG and save more. Although replicas now costs only a third, it pays to invest. After my long-term experience, I can unfortunately not recommend to the Meike replica for the 60D, but maybe because there's other better.
