I own this album for many years on vinyl. Today now I have it here twice bought later at Amazon in electronic form: once in the modest original sound (whatever that was implemented) and once in this Remastered & Extended Version. Better like I'm the original, although in the recent implementation (apparently in 2009) the sound is much better. But there the songs no longer meet z. T. the original and are, as such. B. Rasta Man, has been expanded to include gruesome overdubs (extended). Unfortunately, this is precisely at this brilliant song imploring the religious, spiritual element lost that particularly makes this album so. Instead, it sounds in the extended version tinny clatter ("dubbend") to himself that it is a horror - like in a cheap production from the reggae primitive! Overall, the new version has been edited quite radical, whereby the dark, worn mood of the original must give way to a new listening experience. Actually not the point, right? For at least not blighted by "renewals" Songs I forgive total still 3 stars.
