16x zoom in a confined space

The Sony DSC-H90B feels very high quality, unfortunately, it is not as curved as my previous cameras (Canon Ixus, A3300, A4000, Nikon S6300), but more functional. This is of course to the 16x zoom in such a small camera.

--- First use ---
The first pictures are made quickly, the trigger is something spongy than Canon or Nikon, but you get used to after a few 100 pictures in it.
It seems to me, as if focusing a bit lasts longer and you have to hold the camera nice and quiet, so that sharp images come out. If you get the hang of, succeed very good pictures.

--- Image Quality ---
I have the resolution to 10MP reduced because the resolution completely sufficient and so the noise can be reduced somewhat.
There is some noise in dark passages, but when looking at the computer screen does not bother. For high quality prints, I use rather my SLR (Nikon D3100)
All in all, good image quality for a compact camera.
The lower the resolution is set, the lower the noise.

--- Panoramic shots ---
Not in all circumstances you can create beautiful panoramic photos. The camera work you have to internalize once. In a football stadium the images distort easily. For landscapes, but it is even more beautiful.

--- Video Quality ---
The video function can be adjusted using the jog dial and is quickly ready to start. The resolution is not a FullHD 1080p, but 720p. You can hear a slight noise, but for a small digital camera the images are convincing.

--- Handling ---
The Sony has a lot of different settings, so the images can be changed via internal software. Nice gimmick, but the snapping extends the automatic mode.
In a snapshot camera hands me the auto setting. For high-quality recordings, bsp. in museums or as you need an SLR.
Pictures with moving subjects I've not yet get really sharp, this is certainly the time. In my previous cameras, the images were not until after 1500 shots really well. You have to learn how a camera feels only.

--- Display ---
With 3 inches is a good size and is visible even in the sun. The resolution is excellent and the images are sharp to recognize stung. The menu design is exemplary.

--- Menu ---
The menu is clearly structured and you can find anything after a short rather quickly. Here, unfortunately disrupts my years of Canon experience something.
