1. Graphics
Here CryEngine is used, whereby the benefits holds in check, since the game looks much worse than, say, Crysis-parts. Fabenvielfalt one seeks in vain, instead, more bad than good lighting effects built.
2. Sound
Hui, that sounds itself for me rather badly on (I'm no weapons expert nor am I as demanding in terms of realism). The weapons sound consistently dull and too similar.
3. Control
WASD control with mouse navigation, folded neatly, nothing had to adapt.
4. Story
You play by the story of a journalist who accompanied some people and soldiers in World War II and fought at their side. This tells his story just in a secret radio and it then plays the stories as memories after. Most of the time this is about the Polish uprising in 1944, but we must fight in the 16 missions in France, Scandinavia and of course Germany.
5. gameplay and missions
Here the game shows its potential and has presented it at the same moment again. The denounced "Open World" is limited to a couple of alternative routes and the choice, in certain areas to complete some tasks in any sequence or omit. Basically, this is not to be called Open World, to the level are finally too small. The variety of tasks is not necessarily high, which was also to be expected at a World War II shooter. The tasks "Hole Material / weapon / explosive ABC", "Free Person X", "holding place Y" or "Kill Army Z / person 0815" are here ultimately only repeatedly reprinted and otherwise described. But it's not bad, because what is one there already vary great. Variation or playful freedom is a largely left in carrying out the tasks. It has been mostly the choice whether to the level slowly (silenced weapons and melee attacks are usefully here) or done ballernd. What sounds neat, degenerates in most cases, but in shooting from, because the guards are partly unnatural attention. The bar, which will show you how short you are faced with a discovery turns out to be useless because it Ruck Zuck from 0 goes like the speedometer of a Porsche 100. Is basically also not bad, because the shooter craft is ultimately very solid and makes at least temporarily mood. The game time is depending on the type of gambling after developers have in 10-12 hours, I was in a little over 8 through.
6. AI
Actually, this is for me no extra point, but the computer opponents are here simply so Strunz stupid, it hurts and it should be mentioned separately. Whether identical walkways, senseless-on-the-player running towards or "cover left, cut off briefly, come back, shoot once, run away again. I'm partly just hurt (in the head, because the table that you with the presence has blessed the head). Anyone who has played even begin NEN shooter should urgently on the highest or at least turn on the medium difficulty, if he wants to be called. Goofy is the AI as even, but at least it's not quite so easy . Two brief examples:. It's pretty early in the sewers and then enter via a staircase a power base to alert the Nazis on here, all pretty run consecutively down the stairs and stopped behind the same cover You'll need just. are aimed at the same spot and wait until appears the head of an opponent and then pull the trigger. Another time I was traveling slowly and was hiding crouching behind a tree. I just wanted to briefly look to the side, but I am stuck on the d-key (a gratitude of my cat) and was about 10 seconds in an opponent who was not 2 feet in front of me direct line of sight. I was still in a crouch and he seems to have looked over me. Or was blind. Or just stupid. Then when I was behind the tree and a stone was thrown in the opposite direction (you can throw stones to distraction by the way always), he has me but once discovered, instead of looking in the direction of the noise.
Conclusion: Why do I, despite the flaws at all 3 stars? Firstly, because I 2 but then were too few. All in all, I still had since Call of Duty 2 is not as much fun in a WW2 shooter, which is primarily due to the witty shootings and the solid level design. Enemy Front has a lot of potential and some good ideas, but given away by cruel AI, weak and worn Technology Mission Design. Considering the 3 stars so as kindly upgraded 2.5!
