I order the Thunderbolt port indemnify the Macbook Air me this USB 3.0 Gigabit adapter fetched.

With the data rate under USB 3.0 I am satisfied, definitely a significant performance increase over all wireless options.

For drivers; the supplied driver for Mac running Mac OS 10.8 only up properly, unfortunately with 10.9 / Mavericks no longer - but the actual manufacturer Asix you can download the driver who works for me (Google: Asix AX88179)

In summary: For me ideal if between Macbook Air and host larger data to be copied. Wireless internet is also not (yet?) To slow ...
