DIVERGENT T1 (Paperback)

Customer Review

A nice book for teens that I liked too.
While different in many ways to "Hunger games", some things remind us anyway (the division of society into different categories, a different young girl, a nascent rebellion ...). The literary genre to which it belongs, dystopia, is necessarily for something.

A futuristic world where the population is divided into five factions, each with a characteristic developed the character of which man is made:
the "sincere" who never lie, the "altruistic" who think only other foremost, the "scholars" whose credo knowledge and instruction, "audacious" who abhor cowardice and swear by courage and "fraternal" somewhat reminiscent altruistic but less pronounced.
Obviously that's not counting the fact that there are adverse faction who find themselves and seem to live as homeless and then also the "divergent", a category, hunted, who bears the risk of death and whose the heroine discovers she belongs.

We understand from the start that such an organization of society can take the long road because the human being by its complexity of feelings can have only a single trait.
The "machine" will therefore halt and lead to consequences that will shake the whole system set up ...

Action, suspense, love story, mind manipulation ... a good cocktail that gives a pleasant dystopian story.
