His side I'm satisfied, the sound is very good though not excellent. The frequencies seem to be well balanced, treble are not stifled by against mediums are a little behind (ClearVoice function has remedied this problem). It obviously gives the best sound with Dolby or DTS sources rather than stereo.
5.1 For the record, I am a bit skeptical because I did not have the impression that the sound comes from behind. After reading the documentation and request to support, AC works only in a room with a width of between 3 and 6 meters and if the bar is not too close to the wall; at home, she was less than a meter. The Android app still allows fine adjustments (geometry of the room, away from walls)
For connectivity, no hdmi, damage that would avoid me to connect the TV to listen to music. And no support dlna to send sound from my computer, thankfully there are still bluetooth.
So to conclude, this is a really good bar but demanding to make the best of what she can give. and pity Yamaha reserves the HDMI has its top models.
I am satisfied but not entirely conquered, that may be the problem of these sound bars, which can not be worthy of a true 5.1 audio system
