Eiskalter Groov the '70s

Finest Hour (Best Of) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Cool. Ice cold. Goose Bumps. With this CD or not to bring the '70s in the house! This is groovy, poppy funk-jazz at its finest, here you can experience again the birth of the crossover! A good selection of the best pieces of the Crusaders' from '71 to '81! From the slow, groovy blues to melodic, lively radio. One of the coolest pieces on this disc is Streetlife with Randy Crawford - because the sweat freezes on the skin! No wonder that Quentin Tarantino has operated here grateful. Who has the soundtrack to Jackie Brown already, can access good conscience - here's the eleven-Miuten version of Street Life. In addition, attacks on this CD sometimes Billy Rogers, Larry Carlton or BB King in the strings, and everyone will understand what "crossover" means. If you like Bobby Womack, will love the Crusaders. And who comes from pop and wants evolve times, can here make a cautious, easily digestible step towards jazz.
Rainers recommendation to all under 28: Buying and understand what were the '70s beyond the Bee Gees.
Rainers recommendation to anyone who wants to swim not only in the mainstream: buy and enjoy.
Rainers recommendation to the Basics: Why do the best of, but you shall be the original panes of the Crusaders ...
