The liquid crystal glasses based technology relies on displaying a different image for each eye, alternately, causing a blinking thereof. Hence a necessary frequency of 100 Hz or 120 Hz monitor to display 50 or 60 fps for each eye. This logical consequence: the image brightness decrease by half.
That said, we must admit that the raised display in a video game is very immersive, greatly improving the feeling of the game. In addition, any 3D game can switch embossed configurable.
Unfortunately, some games, even recent ones, are poorly tolerated, particularly in terms of special effects, including shadows plating, making the terrain in unbearable display. The display raised calls for more resources, potentially reducing the fluidity of the game. In addition, the glasses, the battery offers a very broad autonomy, are too heavy to be worn continuously.
