Energy Monitor EM 231 of BAT

Hello There,
since there are no ratings for above device, I write out my impressions. Have the EM 231 (the differences from the EM 231-A are not conspicuous) that now has no more reference to BRENNENSTUHL, but only acquired BAT in MM. Am surprised by the specified measurement ranges and the associated measurement accuracy and hope it is as accurate as well. So it is from 0.2 to 3600 Watt can be measured. When studying the BDA (paper and online as well), I came to the point "Power Factor" is displayed on the screen with, but is not explained. What is this information? An indication for resetting the cost / duty screen also lacks, but I have found out myself ...

Features:
View / measure voltage, current, power, frequency, kW / h consumption, cost display by setting up to 2 electricity prices, Einschaltdaueranzeige and digital

Needs improvement:
1. A backlit display, since the very small numbers are really hard to see.
2. An indication of the duration of the measurement because the indicated value is yes the where my unit has consumed electricity. Is not bad and good sense when refrigerator, since he is not always on.
3. An extrapolation of consumption in the month and year.

All in all though a buy rating for the nice handy device, as well as small loads, such as standby, can be safely measured. Many other devices catch only at 1 to 5 watts to count.
