Fabulous: Fantasy adventure for the whole family

Exclusively for the Xbox 360, the fantasy role-playing game Fable 2 has now been published. This sounds at first time not as exciting, but like true in the RPG genre of saying "Do you know one, you know all". Some things are then too complex for my taste, not to mention inconvenient. And since the standard Xbox button for "deselect" or "Back" (namely the red B) is occupied with the spells you constantly skin accidentally in the middle of the city sinister deadly spell out, although one out just for some stupid menu want.

Against the combat system but is basically nothing to say. Because there is one button each for melee, ranged and magic and kindly neither Manavorräte still arrows or bullets that are used up. That was in all other role-playing always the great injustice. An extra praise for the designer, who has abolished this. Why would a magician constantly need to collect Mana Potions while a warrior could always strike ?! This is improved here clearly and beautifully balanced.

Both on and offline, you can always turn to a partner for co-op play. Even as a solo player you are never alone, because you have your dog with you, you can not control the, but influence. This he finds treasures kills enemies and warns a against attackers. A really charming idea that has made me a lot of fun.

Fable 2 is beginner-friendly, it leaves a nowhere alone - always do you know what to do. One can follow a (disconnectable) Shining Path, which displays the current quest. More fun, of course, to go sometimes offbeat way, because there is everywhere to find treasures and tasks.

Quite as freely accessible the world is then not, the level limits are very clearly what especially stands out as the main character can not jump. Therefore it remains permanently attached to anything.
Technically, I have found a few quirks. So crashed at my place the music "off" and only played repetitive dissonance. Before entering the "Howling Halls" smeared game from console together and I was able to restart at the last save. It is therefore advisable, from and sometimes to save on itself, the game will then start exactly at this point again.

In Moor Level Wraithmarsh graphics suddenly trembled constantly, without that a cause was identified. The Limited Collector's Edition was the way most strongly "evaporated" from Microsoft and contains only one (Engl.) Bonus DVD (not worth it) and a couple of downloadable extras. Including a "Halo Armor Master Chief" - the looks, like in Halo, from silly. Such little jokes dressed but through the whole game (so there is eg Gamerscore points for chickens Kicken).

Compared with Oblivion, this game is more of a pleasure, and suitable for a wider audience.

Very nice is that you can continue playing after the main story and also finds new missions.

Oh, and a tip: Eat more celery! This is the only food in the game, which makes slimmer - otherwise you will always satisfied Pounds.
