I use it with Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit - driver were not found on Microsoft Update, but stand at Canon for download. For scanning I use ABBYY FineReader 12, the bundled software I have not looked at in more detail.

To date, several hundred pages digitized easily, even with ~ 500 pages at a time, there were no abnormalities.

However, this went back because the devices very annoying squeal with feeding - excluded use during a lecture!
