Nothing Fails (Audio CD)

Customer Review

That was about my first thought when I learned that "Nothing Fails" should be released as a single. Since the "Ray Of Light" era already appeared no more slow song, so it was high time to change this. And with success. "Nothing Fails" was, as almost the entire album, once again produced by Mirwais Ahmadzai, what the typical sound explains the sometimes more reminiscent of songs from "Music". And finally, the song finally comes the bombshell: Madonna singing with a gospel choir, for the first time since "Like A Prayer". The goose bumps are guaranteed. And of course dedicated to the Madonna Remixes not anyone, but now-established names that stand for quality. Peter Rauhofer (also known as Club 69) contributed to one of his numerous fabulosen House Mixes that are always interesting (though nothing is rich in the Remix series of "Nothing Really Matters"). Tracy Young plays the song and makes him a fine dance number. And finally, the surprise par: Jason Nevins invents Madonna brand new and published with his remix a true rock grenade, from which one can not believe in the initial hearing that there is a Madonna song. So the summary gives a complete picture.
A further interesting aspect of this song is his background, not many know. 2002 was a girl with Oprah Winfrey to host whose best friend was seriously ill in hospital. She was a big fan of Madonna, and when they saw the show, they got hold of the number of their fans and they phoned each other every day, usually just a few minutes, but Madonna took time. Finally, the terrible news came that the girl died. We once again contacted Madonna that should pick a song that should be played at the funeral. After a moment's thought, she decided on "Nothing Fails". Guests at the funeral were thus the first who got to hear the song. For me, a proof that Madonna is by no means the bitchy pop diva, as she is always described, but a man with heart that you just feel on the song as in this story.
