When I heard that Richard Marx has a new album, I was skeptical at first - the previous albums were all not the bearer and his latest hits were already just over 10 years ago. But then I did the single "When You're Gone" on the radio - and knew at this moment still do not know who sings the song. So investigated and met with Richard Marx (I guess it was a good songwriter, eg for Luther Vandross, but had reservations about his comeback). But no matter, I have heard the album sample and then added myself because of the catchy melodies. ..... And I was not disappointed! The album has the right mix of ballads and pop-rock songs and I look at each song to hear again. Especially standing out doing my opinion especially the songs "When You're Gone" "Nothing Left to Say" and "Again". The new single "Ready to fly", while not bad, but in the long term but has a somewhat high nerve factor, because the song is a ballad again so that it is dripping with lard. Nevertheless, I have to write in my Conclusion: Hats off, great comeback! I am pleasantly surprised by the great album without big weaknesses. The 5 star in my eyes that prevents anything Mainstreaming held recitation of certain pieces (such as Ready to Fly). Moreover, I doubt that fascinated the album on long period, is Weil's kept very trendy. Therefore, "only" 4 stars - but I forgive mostly less - ie: good album, clear buy recommendation from me! :-)
