The style of the combo can probably fit into the exclusively occupied Genre "Gossen-folk". The content of the songs oscillate somewhere between tasteless and outrageous, but the band copes here the fine line between high artistic and thematically low level (almost always) with flying colors by bringing it ready darzubieten their very bawdy humor in quite feingeistigem puns.
"Goss Abitur", "brandy for all!", "Jammerjule", "No Knaster in jail", "My family tree is a Kei" and "I drink, therefore I am" are songs that simply unparalleled.
"Split is a problem halved", "Goss Hauer", "Dear disgusting than again nich '" and "God wills it" fall below this level only slightly and, although not quite as awesome, but still very worth listening to.
"Gossenabitanz" and "hillbilly dance" are rousing instrumentals.
With "stick Kalle" slips of the penultimate song of the disc first to dangerously far into mediocrity. Here are the jokes but then often too flat and too embarrassed because the instinct is probably something fails.
And that "the Horst Filzlaus" an ode to provide same, here is the only (wayward) Pointe. (Best scratch this track from the CD.)
The bottom line remains "spirits for All" as an ingenious album worth listening to as I would in the folk and medieval sector (again) would like to see more.
