The Bad:
- Heavy management interface that complete, ca seems to date from the last century ... (to be kind when LuCI default interfaces among manufacturers)
- Port forwarding is flanged: no possibility of differentiating internal port and external port numbers and limited rules
- No Wake On Lan (it still works on the local network)
- No possibility of cutting the wifi at certain times like the Linksys. However, it can cut internet services at certain times ... but I doubt it actually cuts the emission of waves.
So to remember: the evolutionary potential is important due to existing alternative firmware that erase most faults ... if it's still for basic use a great full router and the best price on Amazon;)
Edition: unfortunately, exactly six months after purchasing the router, it suddenly lost all power WiFi issue ... ie everything works ... except the wifi (at least one 2.4 Ghz) for which the scope is overnight become ridiculous (less than 30 cm). I returned the Netgear router (through their online support), they should send me a replacement. In all cases it is worrying, a high-end router that fails six months after the purchase ...
Edition 2: The replacement router was returned quickly (very good support from Netgear, I'm not going through Amazon Even though I know that their service is excellent as well go directly to the builder who took over all. the procedure).
