When I hear Amaryllis, I realize that the soul is missing. The soul, which stood on the first two albums in the foreground. Sound Of Madness was indeed a big step closer to success, but because the soul is somewhat pushed into the background and given way to part catchy, radio-friendly songs (eg If You Only Knew). The band's uniqueness is lost and you will not find on Amaryllis.
Too bad, because I have Shinedown always considered an exceptional talent.
PS: The most terrible thing about this album, these bells at Through The Ghost! Wuah!
