So I guess now my live experience this with the DVD to compare, then come this way very badly. But not because of the picture and sound quality, because they are very good with 16: 9 widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, but because of the size and length. There are no extras. Nothing. No picture gallery, no backstage insights, nothing. That's very disappointing. Although the booklet contains a few pictures, but which are frankly not really worth mentioning. So we come to pure DVD content. Say the actual concert, which was recorded on 26 September 2014 Castle Park in Münster. Here I make my own concert in Erfurt, as a comparison basis.
First of all, the concert DVD is much shorter than my live Erlebtes concert. Here on the DVD we have about one and three quarters of an hour. Live I have experienced more than two and a half hours, with no opening acts, mind you. Then lacked the guest stars, one of which in Erfurt even only two were doing, but who have at least convinced. Because in addition to his (then) wife Jasmin Tawil, also Matisyahu was there. So lacking in Münster, next to the beautiful Opening entitled Darkness, in which Jasmin sat at the piano, the duet with Matisyahu and his reggae medley. And home sounds without Matisyahu simply not complete. Furthermore, various Ich + Ich songs are not included on the DVD and also songs of nobility songs album missing. Including Underwater, Snow, built on sand, paradise and New Year. Thus, unfortunately, remains the feeling of an incomplete concert, which will disappoint especially those who, like me, another, and better, in my view, have concert experience behind him. Even the grand finale, the beatbox contribution to hangover at sea was in Erfurt imposing a lot, because here again Matisyahu was on stage alongside nobility bandmates.
I am aware that a live DVD can never reflect their own experience. Not even if exactly this concert was recorded. Here I am, however, a little disappointed. That can not make up for the fact that I as a buyer of the DVD free get the live CD (or in this case, double CD) to do so.
