I must connect the praises of this album as a second scribe me so. When I had then bought on launch with the vinyl, I was struck dumb by the first hearing; Forgotten were the previous two albums, often restricting the listening experience due to the poor sound and the game clearly audible errors. Here there is a hammer moderate production, the speed was to keep to the prevailing conditions might only Gene Hoglan or Charlie Benante. But the tracks at reduced speeds could suddenly shine through eerie atmosphere: "Call from the Grave" brings the feeling of being alive Begrabenseins unique across well. And in "Enter The Eternal Fire" the listener is already running literally through the hellish flames. "Equimanthorn" is a furious evocation of the heroic God and probably the hardest (next to "Holocaust" and "Dies Irae" of the Blood Fire Death) what BATHORY have ever done or will do in the future. Black Metal fans will this disc anyway have in the closet and for the happy-go-speedy-metallers it would be nothing. (Too hard for you?) But stay away from import CDs: poor quality in sound and design. Prefer to stay at the Black Mark label, it is worth it !!
