Gloomy conclusion of a fantastic trilogy

Months before the release of "Holy Wood" Manson announced that this album should be a link between the outstanding previous albums "Antichrist Superstar" and "Mechanical Animals" - both musically and in content. And indeed: "Holy Wood" links the rough and tough sounds of ACSS with the gentle glam shades of MA, which provides an incredible amount of variety and makes the board really interesting.
With a total of 19 (!) Tracks has "Holy Wood" offers something for everyone and offers a very good mix of Punk, Metal and Industrial. Despite the large number of songs boredom is theoretically excluded because Manson manages here better than ever, combining aggressive and hard pieces with quiet, beautiful ballads and to offer the listener a constant up and down.
