Admittedly, this is a dark story with injured people, but the simple and pleasant style that is primarily a book that reads quickly. The characters are well built, nicely addressed their intense relationship, although there are fewer feelings that the few other IP that I read earlier (that is also why I preferred Behind the doors Shannon Mckenna closed this novel for example), which left me on my hunger.
Small flat anyway due to end too fast, and the vision of the woman in this book I moderately appreciated. I like it when men want to protect their woman, but then see that Caroline is confined to the kitchen to cook meals for Jack during the entire novel was a bit drunk.
In short, this is not the best PI I've read, but I will focus on the happy result of the saga because I had a good read.
