The new album Tiesto has thereby from the outset has 2 major problems:
1. There are too many contained tracks on the album
2. The songs are 3-4 minutes too short
I think it's generally very criminally when a DJ Radio Cuts used for his album, finally there's Tunes primarily from the club, and there you can hear only the Extended Versions. To date, Tiesto has also kept in mind, why he has this changed suddenly, I do not understand, especially because some of the songs would thereby become more quality.
This fact is especially noticeable in the best song from the album "I will be here" in which without problems in the Club version you could burn it, even after even 6! Would have been minute space on the CD.
But now I come to the single tracks:
Kaleidoscope: Compared to the old openers of Tiesto not this time but experimental orchestral sounds very strange at the beginning, by 2/3 then comes the last Trancy Main melody and the tune but is much too fast after all, with almost 8 minutes enough ,
Escape me: a rocking trance-pop number that sounds best in the first 30 seconds and after that, the longer it runs the more is annoying, but overall good.
You are my diamond: A beautiful dreamy House number that you can hear well, but not great sets in the ear canal.
I want to be here: As I said an absolute trance bomb, I would have found only too happy in the club version. Tune this beforehand you could indeed listen to Tiestos MySpace page and I hope that could be equipped almost exclusively with such tracks the album, but unfortunately this number remained the exception.
I am Strong: trance housy unfortunately slightly annoying in the long run - a circumstance which I had at Tiestos other CDs before. I can at least do not remember that I had ever "annoying" found a track of Tiesto before this album.
Here on Earth: Good Trance number, but actually exchanged again.
Always near: Instead of building a proper tune from the original, you find with Always near one of two unusable spacers - invites you to jump further.
It`s not the things you say: This number is Tiesto confesses finally back to his love of breakbeats, very good and dreamy.
Fresh Fruit: The first instrumental number, with the Tiesto proves that he is at his best when he works alone without vocals, unfortunately, much too short, but nicely ahead pushend, one of the few hightlights.
Century: A trance number that could also come from irgenden another DJ, pretty but also monotonous, no comparison to Tiestos earlier, varied tunes, which occurred in 8 minutes at 4 Minutes, here you feel just the opposite.
Feel it in My Bones: Tegan and Sara, even at the "back in your head - Tiesto Remix" could inspire, create it you'll never forget this tune so quickly.
Who wants to be alone: slow and sluggish, would guarantee great fit on the next album of Nelly Furtano, "Meneater" without Power - boring.
LA Ride: Reiner club track, but the back to inspire a lot more white than the vocal tunes before.
Bend it like you do not care: hard and well, Hands-up club tune, as usual, unfortunately, in the radio version.
Knock You Out: Towards the end of the album, even the vocal tunes are undergroundig, well even if you have more from this can make.
Louder Than Boom: Sorry, not available in the Club version. Very cool, high Screwing tech trance tune, with the best instrumental on the CD.
Surrounded by Light: Short Outro body which would be formulated idea might not have been bad.
Total Kaleidoscope is a very marbled album, it would have been much better if Tiesto could sure put only the best 10-12 tracks, as extended version of it. So I am really looking forward to the remix album Kaleidoscope, which would have to get the evaluation time, which would have been received if Tiesto could the matter be addressed otherwise actually this album. But after "Elements of Life Remixed" already contained a number of remixes, which were better than the original, I am hopeful, as long as one does not find there to Radio version.
Conclusion: Tiesto has released Pop plates compared to other Trance / House / a good album, but it will be soon forgotten and unfortunately is not a milestone, perhaps achieved this status yes Remixed work.
Finally, I can only hope the Tiesto in his 5/6. Album again "back to the roots" going back and composed tracks for eternity.
