+ The Coolpix does not only outwardly a very solid impression and send (no fingerprints on the body visible), but is also comfortable to hold.
+ As Selfie camera it is ideal, by the rotary screen can be captured in the best light and angle. The camera also features a small pedestal, so you can also put down the camera.
+ Image processing is immediately after the shooting directly at the picture possible like it very much. Not only machining possible red-eye or correcting Verwischtem becomes feasible but also other goodies such as frames, lighting effects or special elements to insert.
+ Wireless transfer to a PC or to a tablet for example, is possible.
+ Operating and Photographing is very simple and almost self-explanatory. I did not even need to look in the manual.
- Direct snapshots are never really possible, because it always takes a while until you popped up on the monitor, flipped over and then as far as bringing the camera stand to actually press the shutter button. Spontaneous photos are therefore not feasible but that are Selfies indeed rare
- In more bad, so low-light conditions the pictures are rarely good. Although I have made the setting of the automatic flash fires, the camera snaps even in dim light does not always automatically with flash, so many photos are dizzy and too dark. So here you would always have the flash set.
- The time between Ranzoomen, focusing and actual trigger / hold the image is sometimes surprisingly long, several seconds. In the time I wiggle partly involuntarily by hand, so this long development time means that some pictures are very blurred.
In summary, I would say that the Nikon Coolpix is wonderful, if you actually want to be limited primarily to Selfies or planned pictures and these pictures would then immediately afterwards upload eg online and share. For landscape photos or pictures which are rather spring from a spontaneous moment, so you want to hold in the short term and fast, this camera is in spite of their good technical equipment less.
