Good concept, bad firmware, poor support from the manufacturer

As a NAS server for USB hard drives a great alternative to normal NAS servers, actually. The device is no problem, the client software also works so far. The problem is (reproducible, see also Internet forums) that the firmware crashes (web interface is still accessible, but are missing all the icons and the drives are not accessible). This circumstance can only be resolved in a complete reset. After this man must reset all your parameters. Until the next crash (can be between 5 hours and 2 days last, so do not concretely determined). My request to the support remained Unanswered, a further request in person at the CeBit (should be edited directly) also remained unanswered. An intervening period firmware upgrade brought no improvement. All in all, the product is not recommended.
