A NAS is not a backup, unless you use it just like me. My HauptNAS is Synology 413j, and instead of making backup with external hard drives, I have the NSA320 bought used. So I can not use the redundant hard drives of my two computers useful. A 3TB hard drive as the main drive (Volume 1) inside, and the second shaft is used to fill and then the old hard drives used to outsource. If no backup runs take place, then the NSA320 Network and Power is disconnected. On my gigabit network the NSA320 is slightly slower than the Synology 413j, but this does not matter, because the difference is not very large. My main problem is the File Manager from the NSA320, which is apparently still at the level of 20 years ago. Moving does not exist, and if you want to do something because with 'Upload / Download', then the file must not be larger than 2 gigabytes. Mind you, 'Upload / Download' refers to file operations and not on what you would accept in the name. This software ZyXEL you OS (Linux) the NSA320 is useless, and there do not help the animated graphics of the user interface. Fortunately, there is a fairly active forum (Zyxelforum.de) with tips and tricks. So I could install FFP, so other packages have been installed as the original Zyxel. The Midnight Commander was my salvation, and this also proved that a 400GB backup file for the file system is not a problem. NAS as a generic term in English 'Network Attached Storage', which can be roughly translated as connected to the network storage. The NSA320 provides this, but the File Manager is under all! Pretty weak from Zyxel, but perhaps the NSA320 has indeed other qualities that I do not need because of my DS 413j. The three points I forgive for the hardware and the community. The two points that I do not forgive because Zyxel may take at themselves
