Overall I am very satisfied with the ScanSnap and would recommend it. The one-button principle is promising and accessible by own profiles in the software with few limitations. If the tiresome connecting the tablet to the scanner would not think I could actually do with the pressure on the blue knobs everything. But the scanner via WLAN must always only be connected to the software, even though only the tablet uses the scanner for some unknown reason.
Select After coupling profile and from there I can work directly on the scanner. Documents are scanned, recognized text on the tablet, generates PDF and then stored on the tablet in a ownCloud folder, so the documents are available on all my devices then. The "trick", which I only found out by searching the internet is not "Scan to Folder" but "Scan to File" specify a target application, which then eliminates annoying query by file name. It, if you had more options to preset the file name would be nice. So I would like to combine eg the date with a suffix. However, the software allows me only date or own prefix.
The management of the profiles is unfortunately arg confusing. Deleting, renaming, and sorting is outsourced in a separate window. One can indirectly copy profiles by "Create new profile" in the Einstellunges the current profile on clicks, which the new profile will inherit the settings. The path of the scanned image by the participating applications is opaque, the quality settings only with inaccurate information as "best" or "balanced" or "Low Compression" adjustable. That may help normal users, but I would like to give concrete information or zumdindest who want to see accurate values that are behind the identifiers. Ultimately, you have to try several settings until you get the desired result, which can then be generated permanently via profile.
However, and this is the good news, everything works perfectly and pretty fast if you have set up their own profiles.
