Packing: Wheat bright, Weizencaramelmalz, Wienermalz and Gerstencaramelmalz
Hops: Magnum and Cascade
Alcohol: 6.8% by volume
Bitter Units: Not Specified, I would estimate at 30-35 IBU
The beer runs in an orange-red color in the glass, this evolved a very fine-pored, samtgelber, expresses stable foam.
Smell clearly comes through the Cascade hops. A whole bunch of citrus flavors achieved coupled with a little mango nose in this beer, this is the typical banana-wheat flavor. While this does not sound like much, but it looks much denser and more complex, but I did very difficult to verify what I smell there.
On the palate it disappointed me a bit, the color suggests a malty base body which somehow weak for me. Dominating thereby significantly hop aromas. In Antrunk one still tastes slightly banana-flavors which are quickly overshadowed by the flavors of the Cascades. In the finish, but it shows clearly that there still is an IPA, the bitterness is there still massively by.
Conclusion: For me, a very good beer, but with an edge. It could be a bit rounded. In Braufactum shop it can be had for 12.99. For me at this beer is not completely justified. Nevertheless, I forgive 4 of 5 stars because it really subtleties that are noticed.
