Today, 30 years later, I am not an arrant Madonna fan more. Nevertheless, I get goose bumps every time again, I hear "Borderline". Because of this history, because it is the best song in my ears, the Madonna has ever recorded. But the other tracks are still clearly audible. Of course, all the typical US-disco sound of the early 80s with synthetic drums and dominant bass and some machine-like stiff acting Groove. But it also has this special charm of a young, naive Madonna, still without the compulsion to provoke and to constantly reinvent, completely carefree sings and dances. The dream of the little girl took off the to conquer the pop world and managed it like no other - here he is pressed into vinyl. For me one of the greatest treasures of my (long ago in the basement mothballed) Record Collection.
